Family with children fantastic!
The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was very tasty with fresh pastries, it just made my mornings much better.
It wasn't exactly a bargain,, but it was still acceptable.

Chocolate pastries at breakfast impressed us greatly. The noise from the busy street outside was bothersome during the night.

Compact and attractive room with a view to city. Marvellous location relatively near Parking. Set right next to a tube station in the central area.

Super friendly staff and comfortable beds.
The room was cramped. I was awoken several times due to noise from adjacent rooms. The heating was uncomfortably high, leaving me sweating under thick duvets, and I felt miserable asking for relief while battling noise from nearby concerts.

The breakfast is appetizing and delicious with pastries, good coffee and also juice, lots to choose from. Its location is favourable and magnificent, minutes from Concert Hall.

Friendly, helpful staff with good local knowledge. Convenient location close to the centre but with onsite parking (reserve in advance - there are very few spaces). Room at the back of hotel was quiet, with comfortable bed and well-appointed bathroom.

Maraboe offers a clean, comfortable room with sound-insulated walls, made for a peaceful night's sleep after a day of exploring. The breakfast laid out each morning was a fresh spread of delicious pastries, fresh fruit, and even boiled eggs that kept everyone satisfied-all just a short walk from the attractions in the city center.
Weak Wi-Fi signal.

I was travelling with two young children. Owner was very pleasant and helpful. We had a good size room for 3 plus a great bathroom. There is a small lift, thus no problem with bringing bags upstairs. Decor was very pleasant and room was clean. We had a back room so there was no traffic noise. There was free access to a computer for browsing the internet. There was parking available close to the hotel (for a fee).
This is a small family run hotel, thus reception is not always available (I had to arrange for them to be available at 20:00) and front door is locked early, guests get a key. A light in the hallway of our room was missing and not replaced both nights we were there. Continental Breakfast was OK, could be a bit better with more variety. Free Wi-Fi not available in back rooms.

The breakfast was so good-soft boiled eggs and delicious pastries! Loved the clean, spacious dining area 😍 Only downside was a bit of noise from the road, but I'd still recommend it for a comfy stay!

The Hotel is right on the edge of the new Market square, my only issue is the hotel is next to the underpass that goes under the square where 4 lanes of traffic travels 24/7 at about 40mph, so it's a bit noisy if you get a room at the front of the hotel, the room we had was a triple as we have a toddler, all beds are singles as are most contental hotels where a double is two singles pushed together. It looks like the hotel is in the process (late sept 2011) is having a touch up, new flat screen tv's and rooms a lick of paint which I.M.O. Is getting due. In short I really enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful! The hotel was immaculate and the staff were extremely lovely and helpful. Great bathroom, very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and parking (which is rare - so long as you don't drive a 4 wheel drive as the garage is beneath the hotel and a bit of a squeeze to get into/out of! But it suited us fine!) The hotel is situated 5 mins walk from everything you need/would want to see in Brugge. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit this beautiful city, and have already recommended to friends travelling in Europe. Can't wait to come back!
The only bad thing was leaving! Our visit to Brugge was a last minute decision - we had originally booked for 1 night, but stayed 2 (which we were lucky to do as the hotel was fully booked the morning we checked out!) We will definitely be staying longer next time.
